Background: Exclusive breastfeeding is essential for supporting the health and development of infants aged 0–6 months. WHO emphasizes its benefits in reducing infant mortality rates and improving maternal health. However, global coverage, including in
Indonesia, has not yet met the expected targets. Methods: This descriptive quantitative study involved 67 mothers in the working area of Kassi-Kassi Health Center with infants aged 0–6 months, using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. Results: A total of 55.2% of mothers had moderate knowledge, 44.8% demonstrated good knowledge, and none had low knowledge, indicating a strong understanding of exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusion: Mothers in this area possess moderate to good knowledge. Continuous education and support are necessary to maintain and improve their understanding.
