Journal History
Healthcare: Journal of Public Health is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, research, and practice in the field of public health and healthcare. The journal was established as a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and public health professionals to disseminate scientific findings and contribute to the development of evidence-based public health practices.
The journal is published by PT. Mediatama Zayna Indonesia and carries the online ISSN 3089-9141. Healthcare: Journal of Public Health publishes three issues annually, scheduled for February, June, and October.
Since its establishment, the journal has progressively developed its publication activities by providing a forum for research covering a broad range of public health disciplines, including epidemiology, health promotion, health administration and policy, reproductive health, hospital management, nutrition science, health information systems, nursing, and sport health.
The journal's first publication volume was Volume 1 (2025), with issues published in June and October, among others. The October 2025 issue was published on 31 October 2025 and contained research articles addressing nutrition education, nutritional status, physical activity, academic stress, dietary behavior, and other public health topics.
As the journal continues to develop, Healthcare: Journal of Public Health is committed to strengthening the quality, integrity, and international visibility of its publications. The journal continuously encourages contributions from researchers and practitioners from Indonesia and other countries and promotes rigorous peer review, ethical publication practices, open access to scholarly knowledge, and interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary public health challenges.
The journal is currently indexed in Google Scholar, Garuda, and Crossref, and continues to pursue broader international recognition and indexing through continuous improvement of its editorial, peer-review, publication, and research-integrity standards.
