Background: Hypertension is a major health concern associated with lifestyle factors, requiring attention to prevent complications. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the relationship between lifestyle and hypertension incidence among participants of the
Chronic Disease Management Program at Tinggimoncong Community Health Center. Methods: A cross-sectional quantitative study was conducted with 56 participants selected through total sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and a digital sphygmomanometer, then analyzed using chi-square tests. Results: The analysis showed significant associations between physical activity (ρ = 0.044) and dietary patterns (ρ = 0.049) with hypertension. Meanwhile, rest and sleep (ρ = 0.293) and smoking (ρ =0.302) showed no significant relationships. Conclusion: These findings emphasize the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, especially physical activity and balanced nutrition, to mitigate hypertension risks.
