Factors Related to Compliance With Fe Tablet Consumption in Adolescent Women in MAS As'adiyah No. 1 Atapange Wajo District

Abstract

Anemia in teenage girls is of concern to the government and requires immediate treatment. This is addressed by a program providing Fe tablets. The main problem is adolescent compliance in consuming the tablets given. Research objective: to determine factors related to compliance with Fe tablet consumption among young women at MAS As'adiyah No.1 Atapange. Population: all 75 female students. Sample: 43 female students based on the results of the Slovin formula calculation. Sampling technique: stratified random sampling. Data collection technique: using a questionnaire. Data analysis technique: rank spearman test using the IBM SPSS 22 application. Research results: knowledge and compliance obtained p-value 1.000, attitude and compliance p-value 0.210, school support and compliance p-value 0.268, parental support and compliance p-value 0.031 . Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between parental support and compliance with Fe tablet consumption, then there is no relationship between knowledge, attitudes and school support and compliance with Fe tablet consumption among young women at MAS As'adiyah No. 1 Atapange, Wajo Regency
